Marc talked about the process of learning a foreign language and the different levels of fluency. He will show that there is a higher realm of language proficiency and explain what it takes to reach this “native” point where the benefits far surpass mere communication skills. Marc’s passion is the study of languages, their manifestation in local dialects, as well as their expression in poetry and folkloric song. He has acquired a near-native proficiency in six languages and their sub-forms and has given various musical performances. So many people never ask themselves what they want. Maybe its because they think they have everything already, or because theyre afraid its too late. But if we dont ask ourselves what we want, theres no way well ever know if our dreams are possible, or what it would take to achieve them. Until recently, that was my story. I was living an amazing, beautiful life, and I didnt feel I deserved to even contemplate anything more. This talk is about why I decided to finally ask myself that question, and what happened when I did. Although Rita Wilson is well-known as an actress and film producer, her most recent projects have all been connected to her passion for music. After achieving her dream in 2012 with the critically acclaimed album AM/FM — an intimate, elegant, and beautifully sung collection of classics from the ‘60s and ‘70s — Wilson has been focusing on a new component of her musical career as a songwriter. Recently, she has collaborated with a number of talented and successful songwriters, composing original material featured on her second album, self-titled Rita Wilson. Her new album Halfway to Home (March 2019) has a fuller sound: Southern California rock meets Nashville country, co-produced by Rita Wilson and Nathan Chapman with additional production from Ron Aniello and John Shanks. Many of the songs were co-written with an A-List group of songwriters, including Grammy winner Liz Rose, Kristian Bush of Sugarland, Mozella, Mitch Allan, and Kara DioGuardi. Dr.BM Hegde speaks on the idea of how the ayurvedic medicines are far better for the human body than western medicines. He talks about important theories on how the human body actually functions with a given environment and how Ayurveda blends itself with the human body. Dr.Hegde speaks about the importance of meta medicines which would eventually decide the health factor of humans on earth.

Dr.B.M Hegde is an Indian medical scientist, educationist, and author. He is the former Vice Chancellor of Manipal University, Co-Chairman of the TAG-VHS Diabetes Research Centre, Chennai and the chairman of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Mangalore. He has authored several books on medical practice and ethics. He is also the Editor in Chief of the medical journal, Journal of the Science of Healing Outcomes. He was awarded the Dr. B. C. Roy Award in 1999. In 2010, he was honored with the Padma Bhushan, one of Indias highest civilian awards. His articles and ideas in medicine are appreciated internationally and his passion for educating people is everlasting.

be the most powerful. Ms. Yukiko Nakayama will show you how confident,

simple English opens up many more opportunities of communication than

uncertain, advanced English.

Ms. Yukiko Nakayama is the representative director of U-ENGLISH

corporation. She also works as a full-time lecturer at Japan Society for

Technical Communication (JSTC), and as a part-time lecturer in the

engineering departments of various universities in Japan, including

Kyoto University. She has passed the Grade-1 EIKEN Test in Practical

English Proficiency and the Level-1 English Technical Writing Test,

including an honorable mention award from the Ministry of Education,

Culture, Sports, Science and Technology. Her job focuses on the revision

and translation of technical manuscripts as well as patents. She also

teaches technical English at various companies, universities, and

technical colleges, and has written textbooks on the subject.​
